Mason Folklore students and the Folklore Curious, join our student group, The Folklore Roundtable.

The GMU Folklore Roundtable is a companion student organization to Mason's Folklore Studies Program, which is a leading center for the study of vernacular cultures and the historical, cultural, and social context in which these cultures are rooted.

The Folklore Roundtable hosts the Legends and Lore Walking Tour and other events throughout the academic year. Students and community members share their stories, foodways, and experiences to engage in folklore-related conversation. Outside of those events, the Folklore Roundtable meets regularly in-person and online to discuss all things folklore.

Students, staff, and community members are welcome! Contact Stephanie Aitken for more information at saitken2@gmu.edu.
