Mason Folklore students and the Folklore Curious, join our student group, The Folklore Roundtable

The GMU Folklore Roundtable is a companion to Mason's Folklore Studies Program which is a leading center for the study of vernacular cultures and the historical, cultural, and social context in which these cultures are rooted. The Folklore Roundtable hosts two annual campus events including Spooky Stories, held every October, and Love Stories, in February. These events are open-mic story telling events where students and community members can share their own work, or their favorite stories. In-between those events, the Folklore Roundtable meets regularly throughout the semester in-person and on-line to discuss all things folklore, students, staff, and community members welcome!
