"Forks over Knives" Nutritionist T. Colin Campbell to present the 2014 Gras Lecture

The English Department is pleased to announce T. Colin Campbell will present the 2014 Vernon and Marguerite Gras Lecture. Campbell is the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University.

Campbell is best known for his advocacy of a whole foods, plant-based diet.  He is author of over 300 scientic articles and two books, Whole (2013), and The China Study (2005), one of the best-selling books about the effects of nutrition on health and disease prevention. 

Campbell’s lecture, “Why food choice is our best bet for personal health, societal health, and planet health,” will examine the relationship between technological change and human life and the environment.
