Folklore and Ethnography Archive Releases Interviews from the NOVA Civil Rights Project

In honor of Martin Lurther King Day, the Mason Folklore and Ethnography Archive is pleased to announce the availability of the Northern Virginia Civil Rights Oral History Project. Thirteen full video interviews are available for scholars and members of the general public. "The Northern Virginia Civil Rights Archive: Personal Histories and Achievement in Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964" solicited personal stories and testimonial from members of the Northern Virginia community about the civil rights movement over the course of the year. The archive was dedicated at George Mason University on July 7, 2014.
